Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Chocolate Chip Cookie Cheesecake Bars

These cookie bars are unbelievable. That's all I can say. Enjoy!

Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Chocolate Chip Cookie Cheesecake Bars
1 pkg. Betty Crocker chocolate chip cookie dough mix prepared as per directions (this means mix with 1 stick butter and 1 egg)
(easier substitute: refrigerated cookie dough, harder substitute: homemade dough)
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
10 small or mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (not the kind that come two per pack, but the ones that come in a bag and are individually wrapped)
Grease and flour a 9 x 9 or 8 x 8 pan. Prepare cookie dough. Put 2/3 of the dough in the bottom of the pan and press down. Reserve the rest. Mix the cream cheese, sugar and egg until totally combined and creamy. Throw the peanut butter cups in and mix them with the mixer. When they are broken up and combined, pour the mixture over the cookie dough. Then dab the rest of the cookie dough evenly around the top. There should be cream cheese showing through. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes. After they cool, refrigerate.

You can double this recipe and use a 9 x 13 pan, but it will need to cook a tad longer because the bars will be thicker.
